Choose from one of two session tracks, including one devoted to animal control officers and field work, and get lifesaving tools and takeaways to save more cats and dogs in your community and help make the country no-kill by 2025.

Please join us for this special day of expert presentations on lifesaving priorities for your area of the country, along with interactive discussions on topics such as engaging your community, utilizing data to maximize lifesaving, effective customer service, reducing shelter length of stay, and implementing progressive and effective programming for community cats and cats in shelters.

Animal control and field services track
In addition to the operations and leadership track, a separate field services track will be led by Scott Giacoppo, Best Friends director of national shelter outreach. With more than 20 years of experience leading progressive animal control, Scott will be providing a free training for animal control officers and workers on key community topics such as strategic field operations, problem-oriented response, mitigating community cat issues and interpreting laws.
